Can Claude, Claude Code or ChatGPT Post as a LinkedIn Company Page?

Short answer: yes, if you have an admin role on the page. You do not connect the page itself. You connect your own LinkedIn account to a LinkedIn MCP server, such as LinkMCP. Then Claude, Claude Code or ChatGPT can post, comment and react as the page.

What can the AI app do as your page?

A post as the page is public under the page name, not under your name. It takes the same content as a post on your profile: text with line breaks, images from a public link, and @mentions. For posts on your own profile, see Post to LinkedIn from Claude: Profile or Company Page.

What do you need?

• A LinkedIn admin role on the page. LinkedIn shows only the pages where you have an admin role.
• Your LinkedIn account connected to LinkMCP. The posts go out through your own account, and connecting it needs a paid plan.
• An AI app with LinkMCP added: Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT or another app that works with MCP servers.

How do you post as the page?

1. Ask which pages you can post as:

   Which LinkedIn company pages can I post as?

   The AI app calls linkedin_list_company_pages and shows the name and the page ID of each page.
2. Ask for a draft, and ask the app to wait:

   Draft a LinkedIn post for the [page name] page about [news]. Keep it under 150 words. Show me the draft and do not publish yet.

3. Edit the draft with the app until you like it.
4. Say "Publish it as the [page name] page." The app passes the page ID as as_page in linkedin_create_post. The answer has the link to the new post and the page name.

How do you comment or react as the page?

Read the latest post of [person or company] and draft a comment as the [page name] page. Show me the comment and do not post it yet.

React with "celebrate" as the [page name] page to this post: [post URL]

The app uses linkedin_comment_on_post or linkedin_react_to_post with as_page. The page can also reply to a comment or react to it. The reactions are like, celebrate, support, love, insightful and funny.

Which AI apps can post as the page?

Every AI app that has LinkMCP connected. The setup is different in each app:

• Other AI apps: Install LinkMCP in any AI client.

What can LinkMCP not do?

• LinkMCP does not read or answer the messages of the page.
• Messages and connection requests always go out from your own profile. LinkMCP cannot send them as the page.
• There is no tool for page analytics, such as follower or visitor numbers. The AI app can read the recent posts of the page, with their reaction and comment counts.
• LinkMCP cannot edit or delete a post after it is published. Do that on LinkedIn.
• If you have no admin role on a page, LinkMCP refuses to act as that page, and nothing is posted.

Can this put my LinkedIn account at risk?

Posts, comments and reactions as the page go out through your own LinkedIn account. They count toward the same daily limits as your own posts, comments and reactions. The safety level of your account sets these limits and the gap between actions, and the default level is Cautious. The numbers are on our security page.

When is another tool a better fit?

• Copy and paste. The AI app writes, and you post on the page yourself. It is free, and nothing acts on your account.
• Tools that use LinkedIn's official API can also post to a company page. Some of them also plan posts for later and report on the page. If that is all you need, compare them. Our Claude guide lists some.
