LinkedIn Sales Navigator MCP for Claude and ChatGPT

Short answer: we found no Sales Navigator MCP server from LinkedIn, but a LinkedIn MCP server can run Sales Navigator searches through your own account. With LinkMCP connected, you describe the people you want in Claude or ChatGPT. The assistant runs the Sales Navigator search and works with the results: it reads their posts, finds work emails and drafts messages.

LinkedIn's own plugin in ChatGPT looks up profiles. OpenAI's page for it describes title, company, location and follower count, not Sales Navigator search (checked 2026-10-05).

What you need

• An active Sales Navigator subscription on your LinkedIn account. LinkMCP does not sell Sales Navigator.
• Your LinkedIn account connected to LinkMCP. Searches go through your own account, so this needs a paid plan.

To check your account, ask: "Use linkedin_who_am_i and tell me if Sales Navigator is active on my LinkedIn account."

What you can do

• Search people with Sales Navigator filters: keywords, location, industry, seniority, job function, years in the current company, network distance and profile language. You write the values in words, for example "San Francisco Bay Area", and LinkMCP finds LinkedIn's IDs for them.
• Use a search you built in Sales Navigator. Copy the search URL from your browser and give it to the assistant. Classic LinkedIn search URLs work too.
• Get more results page by page. Each answer has a cursor for the next page.
• Richer results: name, headline, location, profile URL, network distance, open profile and premium status, and current positions with time in the role.
• Act on the results: read posts with linkedin_get_person_posts, find a work email with find_email, and send a message or InMail with linkedin_send_message.

Prompts that work

Search Sales Navigator for VP-level sales leaders at software companies in Germany, 2nd-degree connections, 1 to 3 years in their current company. Show a table with name, title, company and profile URL.

Here is my Sales Navigator search URL: [URL]. Get the first two pages of results and mark everyone with an open profile.

For the first ten people, read their last three posts and suggest one opening line for each. Do not send anything.

The assistant uses linkedin_search_sales_navigator for the search. If it picks the classic search instead, name the tool in your prompt.

What it does not do

• It does not read or change Sales Navigator lead lists or account lists. To work with a group of people, use a search or its URL.
• It searches people, not accounts (companies), in Sales Navigator.
• It does not run campaigns or sequences. Each search and each message is a request that you make in the chat.

Limits and account risk

Every search goes through your LinkedIn account, so searches have daily limits and a minimum gap, like every other action. InMail uses the InMail credits of your LinkedIn plan. The limits are on our security page.

Any automated use of LinkedIn can put an account at risk, and no tool can promise that LinkedIn will not restrict an account. High volumes and robotic timing are common triggers. The limits lower the risk. They do not remove it. More in our guide on LinkedIn automation risk.
